On the run up to Velvet Day, a national holiday in Reine, the Fighting 6 have created a short rock climbing course in the Prairie as part of the festivities. Velvet has volunteered to test it, can you help her show off her ice climbing skills perfected from chasing Vixen up and down the mountains of Reine?
This is a fangame based on TFH’s Story Mode platforming segments, starring Velvet and a take on her Chapter 2 platforming gameplay. Introducing Ic(icl)e climbing, a new gameplay mechanic where Velvet’s icicles to embed in walls on impact, forming platforms that combine walljumping, wall climbing, grappling, ledge clinging gameplay all in one. To use, simply fire Icicle A, B or C at solid walls and then jump on them as a platform.

I think they look good so far for what I presume is an early prototype.
Some other observations during my initial playthrough (some of which quirks from being a prototype):
It feels slightly weird how the Woodlands is the only area with a track that isn’t a duplicate of Reine’s theme.
There’s a ridiculously large wolf at the edge of the Woodlands.
The bear enemy doesn’t have a moving animation when it moves.
I’m guessing health is not properly implemented yet, seeing all enemies are harmless and are killed in one hit? (On that note: The bear enemies seem only weak to icicles.)
Interesting how there’s a near duplicate of the vertical climb somewhere at the left edge of the map (I didn’t want to do the exact same climb twice, so I’m not sure how much more of a difference there is higher up).
New observations I’ve now noticed:
Pressing the “Quit” button on the pause menu doesn’t initially quit the game (you have to press Tab afterwards). It also kind of breaks the controls, putting everything in rapid-fire without cooldown.
There a 2 player split screen co-op mode (Not sure why it exists, but okay…?) that has a very much unfinished control scheme.

Nice to see you saw Reine and the other Foenum areas, what did you think of their 2D sideview visual designs?
The game can be reset by pressing tab twice.
Did you manage to icicle climb through the level to the arch? Thanks for the playtesting and .
Decided to try it out, and found out the hard way that you shouldn’t jump off the right edge of Reine. As falling into bottomless pits is impossible to recover from outside of manually resetting the game.
I also found there’s a lot of interesting content by moving left from the starting area instead of right.
The hard part is the programming. Or possibly the hacking of a closed-source game. That’s not something just anyone can do.
