Hasbro did set things right thanks to the fan backlash of Optimus Prime’s death in the Transformers movie and they bring him back at the end of Season 3, “The Return of Optimus Prime”. It’s not just Hasbro’s fault, it’s also Buzz Dixon and the late Ron Friedman’s fault, too, because the decision to kill off Optimus is made thanks to the decision to kill off Duke in the G.I. Joe movie, which is scrapped thanks to the fan backlash of Optimus Prime’s death, which resulted in Hasbro to bring back Optimus Prime and had Duke fall into a coma and then would come out of it instead. Also, yes, Ron Friedman, the writer of the Transformers movie, died of cardiac arrest last year on September 15, 2025, at the age of 93. He was the one who was ittedly opposed to Optimus Prime’s death. May he rest in peace, but his legacy lives on forever, until all are one. Also, I notice that Hasbro has blocked numerous YouTube videos about “The Transformers: The Movie”, made or ed by “Flashback FM”, “Jugglehead Creations”, “Roadpigjohn”, “Transformers DAN”, “Gugleangelo”, “BrenKir Studios”, “KaijuFanatic2001”, “DVDXtras”, “Roger Stinson”, “Kal Blaze18”, “Doorhenge”, “S.S. Ruiz”, “BrenKir Studios”, “Dennis”, “SeanTF1967”, “Toy Wizards”, “Frozzn Gaming”, “afkaz”, etc. being blocked due to the claimed content and copyright claims by Hasbro UGC. Why would Hasbro do such a thing? Are they trying to cover up Optimus Prime’s death? Hasbro’s making a big mistake here. Maybe the reason why they took a Unicron-size load of videos related to the movie off YouTube was because of the Apology Tour and the re-release of the film in theaters for the film’s 40th anniversary. I hope maybe would unblocked these videos back on the internet real soon, once that’s over, especially if people could re these blocked videos. And I hope Hasbro would release the 40th anniversary edition of the film in home media, maybe with old content from previous home media releases, as well as some brand new ones. Also, Hasbro did not cancel Equestria Girls because “Holidays Unwrapped” isn’t the end of Equestria Girls, it’s actually the last piece of media animated by DHX Media, and let’s hope Boulder Media animate future Equestria Girls the same way they did when they animate the Summertime Shorts back in 2017, aside from the music videos. Yep. Seven years and still on hiatus.
