A/N: I’m not terribly happy with how this one turned out. Compared to actual CDC PSAs, it feels amateurish and cluttered. I think the large amount of text and cramped spacing are likely to blame. Oh well. It is what it is.
Cotton Swab makes her first fetish appearance, and she doesn’t seem nearly as happy as she was in the reference art. I wouldn’t be either if I was told I was finally getting to use my special talent, only for a unicorn mage to zap me with a spell while they took pictures of the aftermath. Don’t worry, Cotton. I’m sure you’ll get to use your special talent once this PR campaign’s over. There’s only six more cartoon fetishes to get through. Plus maybe mind control if I feel like it.
Originally, the PSA poster was going to feature all seven (flattening, inflation, disintegration, freezing, modulation, shape change, and melting) of the main cartoon physics fetishes, but I decided to break them up into individual PSAs, both so that they could each be highlighted and because doing all them at once would take quite a while to finish. I’ll probably do that original idea at the end once the “series” is finished. Up next I think will be flattening but we’ll see.
On the technical side, it’s the same as always. This one went quicker, about six or so hours, and was again done with Inkscape.
