this is an old drawing I did back in 2011 or 2012 right before Hearths Warming. I did have a color version I colored myself on a flash drive somewhere but I decided to ask AI to color my old black and white sketch and it went ahead and fixed up bon bon’s dress as well. What do you guys think about AI assisted art when the AI adds additional detail beyond shading and coloring?

I personally didn’t like its choice for the dress. but I did ask for water color because to me it just looks more cozy. I’m afraid if I ask it to do another style it will get too aggressive with how it alters it.
Anyway. Overall, the AI-composed image actually looks great! But I definitely recommend that if you use AI, you double-check (maybe triple-check) the image and correct any mistakes.

I actually did have to adjust bon bon’s tail and do some other touch ups.
