Golden Spear’s day job is cleaning. She works as a janitor mostly since when she went in to her cutie mark, when asked what her talent was, her immediate response was “custodian”. The pony helping her fill out her paperwork took that to mean “Custodian, as in Janitor!” and not “Custodian, as in Bodyguard to the God-Emperor, the Apex of Genetically engineered super soldiers”
And since the Equestrian government doesn’t believe your talent can change or the meaning behind it can change, your stuck with that all your life.
She doesn’t mind anymore. She gets to use the guard training grounds on her days off. Plus, since she can summon and dismiss both her weapon and her armour at will, not many people really know how powerful she is.
She’s well paid, has a simple life, a few friends, and is absolutely triggered when people call her cute.
She’s too good at her job for the castle to consider firing her, so they just made a new rule that “If you call Golden Spear ‘cute’ or any form of that wording, what ever happens to you is your own damn fault.”
