I have already drawn him before, but I did not like the art, this is a reworked work.
The concept of the character is simple, just a young athlete who loves baseball and sport, and who is perfectly able to move, quickly and without tiring to run, someone who can compete with the athletes of his age, it is a pony, since Zak lives in Equestria. According to my original idea, in my story, he is Zecora’s nephew.
Despite all that, the story of his arrival in Ponyville is quite amusing and differs from Grace’s. When he first arrived in Ponyville, Zack, while exploring the village, wandered onto the playground at Miss Cheryl’s school — and just in time, because the bell rang, and a group of pony foals came out onto the playground and literally froze when they saw the guest — a zebra of their own age — who had accidentally come to them.
I decided to add a boomerang to his character, which, according to my plot, he knows how to handle perfectly.
Literally from his earliest youth and to this day, he never parts with it, and he’s a master of boomerang throwing; it’s also his simple way of relaxing or relieving stress, showing off to his friends and pals, and demonstrating to his peers — the pony foals — what zebras are capable of.
As I mentioned earlier, he is a relative of Zecora and is currently a student at Twilight Sparkle’s friendship school in Ponyville.
He is one of the three characters in my trio of foals, which includes Zack himself and two of my other characters, Wirt and Grayson. Their trio will probably be called the “Boomerang Club.”
