Tallent: He able to hide and blend in easily with his environment. He’s also quick like a phoenix.

Shadow is the middle child of Princess Luna and King Sombra. He often found himself being the middle ground between his sisters’ fighting, when they were growing up.
Shadow often tried to keep the peace between Moonlight and Constellation, but it was not easy, especially when they both tried using magic to try and win against the other sister. He tried to stay out of the fights that involved magic, wings are not too great in combating magic spells.
Growing up in the Canterlot castle was interesting, to say the least. Shadow grew up watching many different creatures through the walls. He was always amazed with the variety of different creatures that came to the castle for one reason or another.
With living in a castle, Shadow spent much of his time following and interacting with the royal guards. He was often found following a guard when he was younger. When he was only a kid it was hard for him to keep up with the guards when they would move from post to post, because their legs were much longer than he was. When he was a kid he usually following around Steel Sabor or Thunder Wing. Steel Sabor was a Corporal and Thunder Wing was a Private First Class. After Shadow was grown both Steel Sabor and Thunder Wing managed to climb the ranks Steel Sabor retiring as a Command Sergeant and Thunder Wing continuing as a Sergeant (please note I know nothing about the military in MLP or in IRL, I just googled Military ranks in order). If Shadow couldn’t find Steel Sabor or Thunder Wing to follow around he would follow one of the other guards.
As he got older some of the guards suggested the Shadow start in some basic training for kids interested in being a guard. Steel Sabor and Thunder Wing both encouraged him to when Shadow became of age to .
So, Shadow s the royal guard, much to his mother’s dismay and his father’s delight.
*Explaining the timeline
Baby: Calm peaceful baby.
Child: Crazy, rambunctious child. This is when he got his cutie mark, from when he managed to hide from some of the lower-level guards that he made mad by pranking. This was when everyone found out how great of a hider he was.
Teen: This is him just hanging out with the guards and listening to them, this is also when he enrolled into the training program.
Young Adult: He became a full-fledged night guard. This is him in his armor and outside his armor.
Adult: This is after everything settled down and he is being fitted for a suit to were for when he is awarded the medal of honor.
