Facts. I get people desperately want all of the Mane 6 to be in G6, but until the show comes out, we really don’t know what exactly it means that AJ and Rarity will “show up in yhe future”
It’s pretty obvious the chances of AJ and Rarity actually coming back as main or even recurring secondary characters are as high as 0. The same way there will be no CMCs, Spike, Starlight, Discord or any other of those side characters. It’s a 9 minutes show exclusive to youtube to sell toys. They focus on those 4, and only those 4, and if you use enough imagination they might fell like their g4 counterparts. If g6 really had the possibility of being something huge, they wouldn’t be reviving g4 through the comics. Producing 2 very similar things at the same time doesn’t make any commercial sense.
But in a way I don’t blame the fandom for wanting so hard to believe it. First we all cope wishing the leaks were fake and they would all be there. Now we are coping pretending hasbro has even a chance of properly handling such short episodes. We’re trying to act like what they said in this clip and on instagram is enough to ensure us characters that have been consistently excluded from merch for over 15 years have a real chance of coming back.
It’s good to positive and have hope, but it’s dangerous to be too emotionally attached to it or allow yourself to see g6 characters as the ones you know from g4. Because when reality inevitably hits it will be unavoidable.
