Fireheart is a little orange ball of energy who seems to be constantly looking for his next adventure. Half pegasus and half batpony, the young Pegabat is curious, playful, affectionate, and occasionally a bit of a hoof-full for his new mother.
After being found alone and abandoned, Fireheart’s dreams were discovered by Princess Luna during one of her nightly dreamwalks. Refusing to leave the little foal on his own, Luna brought him back to Canterlot and adopted him as her son.
Fireheart absolutely loves mangos and has developed a habit of sneaking them out of the castle kitchens and hiding them around his room for later. He is also obsessed with comic books and is a huge fan of the Wonderbolts, dreaming of someday becoming an amazing flier himself.

After a thousand years of banishment upon the moon, Princess Luna has finally returned to Equestria. But coming home is not as easy as she had hoped.
The world has changed in her absence, and Luna struggles to find her place within modern Equestria. Customs are different, ponies speak differently, and even Canterlot often feels more foreign than familiar. Though reunited with her sister, Luna still finds herself lonely and unsure of where she belongs. Then, one night while dreamwalking, Luna hears a call.
She discovers the sleeping mind of a young orange foal named Fireheart. Abandoned, frightened, and completely alone, he has no family waiting for him when he wakes. Luna cannot bring herself to leave him that way.
She sets out to find Fireheart in the waking world and brings him home to Canterlot, eventually adopting the little foal as her own son.
In caring for Fireheart, Luna unexpectedly begins to find her own place in the world again. While she teaches him about the stars, dreams, magic, and what it means to have a family, raising her new foal teaches Luna about modern Equestria—and about herself.
