1: Starlight blushes lightly, staring off to the side as an idea pops in her head
2: “Oh! The shield was powered by their love for each other, right?” Starlight says, referring to Shining Armor and Cadance. “Sooooo maybe that’s a key component?” she offers tentatively. Twilight’s wings flare in surprise at the suggestion, a blush creeping on her own muzzle.
3: “Oh! Hm. That’s– interesting!” Twilight stammers nervously, “but maybe the um- ‘love’ between two friends would work in our case?” she offers, though it’s quite obvious the princess is trying and failing to hide her feelings.
“O-oh yeeeah.” Starlight drawls, nervous embarrassment all over her expression, “We could try it, right?”
4: Starlight hops out of the couch and moves forward to the center of the room, quickly taking a sip from a box of apple juice while Twilight settles the picture album she’d been holding on a lectern. “What, now?” Twilight questions.
“Why not? I’m not about to quit after just one try!”
“Are you sure you want to try again so soon?–” Twilight tries to ask.
But is immediately interrupted by Starlight continuing on.”–Besides! This apple juice is perking me right up!”
Noting her friend’s determination, Twilight concedes, “If you say so…”
5: “Let’s avoid another explosion if we can, though.” Twilight cautions nervously, “We’ll just focus on synthronizing our mana fields, alright?”
“Got it!” Starlight nods, both their horns beginning to spark with magic
6: Their horns make with a light ‘dink!’ magic already pouring into their ing tips as the two speak in unison: “Round two… begin!”
