There’s something sweet about E-celeb Pipp being the one to return.
No one can say Bridel wasn’t giving it her all as Pipp, I think her performance really helped Pipp get that bump in popularity during the shows. During every era MLP has always had good VAs, so I like when they reuse ’em.
A few G5 voice actors are returning for G6! AJ Bridel (Pipp Petals) and Stacey Kay (Blue Belle) will be voicing recurring unknown ponies. The voice director for both G5 shows, Alyson Court, is also returning.

I believe that at this point some leaks already confirmed Rarity will be returning as her own character (there is even a theory Aj Bridel could be the one dubbing her). But I truly wish they don’t do something like this. G5 doesn’t deserve another reason to be hated on.
Preliminary concepts for Camp Cutie Mark included mixing generation characters together. So, I just realized they might be replacing Rarity with Pipp (or blending the character concepts, like making Pipp a Unicorn singing fashion icon). The fandom’s hatred on our little princess Pegasus would be unfortunate and devastating.

i understand how you feel. i can see the parallel. Theres a sizable contingent in the Sonic “fandom” that whos anchor cartoon is the STH weekend DiC cartoon. Sega Ltd Japan pretends it never existed.
The MLP franchise is going that way with its G5 .
