Notice how “dark” is in quote marks. He’s saying stuff that is “dark” should be tagged as “semi-grimdark”. He’s not saying they should be tagged as “dark”.
But hey, isn’t “dark” a “d” word? :P

Just plain “dark” is not a rating tag. As I understand it, it is used for images that are dark in the colour sense, not the theme sense. Thus, it’s just treated like any other tag - you can apply it wherever it fits regardless of rating.
But hey, isn’t “dark” a “d” word? :P

I thought that dark was used for low lighting intensity. Might be wrong but I have seen images (>>483352, >>480378, etc) that use it that way.
