After two-and-a-half straight days of fighting, the battle was finally over. This was the largest assault theyve mounted against her farmland since their invasion two weeks ago. Applejack had only barely finished burying her brother when they struck again one last time. Applebloom was still no where to be found, though if she was indeed with the rest of her friends in Ponyville, it was likely she didnt survive.
All of her closest family were either dead of missing, and her best friends were nowhere to be found. As fatigue began to overwhelm her, she felt something she hadnt felt in as long as she could wash over her soul:
I painted this for these very responses though. I hate seeing poor Apples like this too, but I wanted to make something that had an emotional impact of some kind on the viewer.
I really didn’t want to upvote this, but it doesn’t deserve to be in negative territory.
Also I question the tagging. This isn’t really an abuse pic. It looks like it at first glance, but the story (also at source) makes it pretty clear this is AJ after a nasty fight.
