I can see why you’d think that. The fake gamer girls get WAY more attention. However, the rest of us are just quietly gaming, in many cases playing mainly single player, or muting their mics and hiding behind gender-neutral or male-sounding gamertags/PSN IDs/Steam names. If you had to deal with the shit girl gamers had to deal with online, you’d do the same.

While I don’t have a problem with girl gamers, I do have a problem with the hordes of white knights that tend to follow them. I realize it isn’t her fault they are there but they are still annoying.
I used to have a friend like the bottom picture, whenever some asshole commented on her she would chew their head off or spawn camp them til they raged.
She was really nice outside of stupid stuff like that though.
I have never met nor known a gamer that didn’t rage at least once, even if it’s playful shouting and friendly abuse.
