That just means they’re from iTunes. They’re just .mkv files, and as long as you have a player that can read the container and play the MPEG-4/AVC video stream and either the AC3 or AAC audio streams (VLC Media Player, Media Player Classic with the right codecs, PotPlayer, etc.), you’ll be fine.
Yeah, you can play them just fine, the DRM has been hacked out. I personally play the iTunes rips using VLC, which is free, but I bet windows media player works if you have the correct codec.
I’ve been watching them on The Hub’s website lately.
They’re getting better about getting the videos up there in good time, and its the best way to the show without having access to the channel on TV.
Unfortunately, they don’t seem to keep old episodes up long. No going back to rewatch or to catch up on missed episodes, as the newer episodes start replacing them there. For instance, they only have Equestria Games and Twilight’s Kingdom in their videos section as full episodes right now.
Still need other sources to watch ‘reruns’, I guess.

Judging by the way most of the options say “iTunes”, I’m guessing I won’t be able to just play them on Windows Media Player or something.
