Planetside 2 lore is different then PS1 lore. In PS1, the NC were the shiny white good guys while the TR were the Ebul Empire. In PS2 however, they’re only the good guys because the local Republic military instigated a military dictatorship when the people of Auraxis got cut off from the Sol System. Back home, the NC were libertarian terrorists backed by megacorporations against a generally benevolent mix-economy socialist democracy.
I’ve seen on a comment for the NLR group on Deviantart that the NLR “Hail for socialism”. The Terran Republic are a socialist-oppressive republic.
Which the New Conglomerate hate. NC would sooner kick the NLR’s shit in before ever conforming to the ideals that they were rebelling from in the first place.
