If you want to show them your inspiration, there’s always that pic on here of my own full army. Done a handful more since I posted that, (most of which are on here as individual pictures), but those titans really steal the show.
Reaver battle titan painted pink with Cadance on the flag. I think that’s the only model I’ve posted a picture of on here that hasn’t had a single down vote.
Must’ve done something right.
well i only ed a gamesclub last week tomorrow will be my 2nd game playing them. only a few there but it got a good laugh, telling me its the most colourful marine army theyve seen and why did I paint them like that. Well heading into Derby games workshop before that I may get a few out

Have you actually had chance to use this force in games yet?
If so, what sort of reaction did you get?
Funniest thing is, I have taken my Pony and Hello Kitty themed marine armies to the Manchester Games Workshop around 2 years ago.
I’m guessing they thought the force was odd, although the guy in charge there did say they were “worryingly well painted”.
When I went over in december last year to get the christmas shopping, there was a woman working there. (I got a chaos bike squadron for my cousin). I showed her a pic I had on my phone of the army. The response I got was “Oh, so it was you that did that? I’ve wanted to meet you!” And then proceeded to follow us around the shop, asking a few questions.
Obviously, she had been told about this army whilst working there.
To make a long story even longer, she asked me if I could fetch the army in some time so she could have a look at it.
So, we come to this year. I took the force over in July, and the staff there took a load of pictures of the army.
Now, what surprised me here was just how many of the staff and the players there were naming the characters as soon as they saw the models.
Many of them had been watching the show, probably out of curiosity after finding out there was a themed army out there…..
I’ve only one minor gripe about this squad.
Could do with the bases finishing off a little. Even just painting them a color that matches the game table perhaps?
Tempted to my own devastator squad. Roseluck themed in my own force, but they need a clean up. The painting on them’s a little shoddy, even by my standards. (Which are slightly above average, and considerably higher than most of the opponents I’ve faced at my local club).
Yeah ive seen it, was gonna paint my stormraven as gilda but its been quickly primed black since then, its now going to be seabreeze whenever i get around to it

Look pretty good too; but then, almost everything you’ve posted up to now looks better than my own painting.
Take it you’ve seen my own latest project on here? The Forge World toy?

There’s one other good thing about painting an army like this.
No two units are painted the same way, so you don’t get bored as easily.
Aw well. At least I’m not paying a chuck of my income to GW anymore.
