Tara Strong is pretty open about being Jewish. She’s also able to take a joke pretty well and is an actress who does what she’s paid to do.
I listened to the whole album. I liked it, though it’s a little surreal to hear the FiM cast sing about Christmas and Christmas things with no attempts of any sort of Equestrian equivalent.
It still kind of amazes me that this album even exists. Heck, a few years ago (checking indicates it was December 2011) Madeleine Peters sang Jingle Bells for some kind of charity thing, and I recall briefly wondering at the time if we would ever see a full fledged Christmas album as song by the ponies. I kind of hoped we would, but I honestly never really believed it was actually going to happen. Just goes to show, you never can tell what the future will bring.

Actually, y’know some famous Christmas/holiday songs were made by Jewish people.
