I reading a letter some crappy parent sent to a catholic magazine. She thought her daughter ed a sect of “Manga and Anima”.
The best part was, the priest(?) responding pointed out she should have talked to her kid before sending said letter, explained what manga and anime are, and even tried to explain why it’s a phenomenon.
I may have not read that correctly the first time, though I still stand by questioning how all that came up yet somehow the show that it takes place in never was mentioned.

Yeah, because you have such little with your child that the first conversation you have with him about his obvious obsession with MLP is after he brings up starting a religion.
