I want a block dedicated to Nicol Bolas finding out in order to return the spark to it’s original power he has to go back in time with a bunch of walkers and re-fight the war on Dominaria Fate Reforged style.
Except now we’ve got the current superfriends of ’walkers there to muck things up even worse.

To say nothing of performing a eugenics program that spanned centuries if not millennia to create a race of people literally born to fight Phyrexians… only to have the pinnacle of that line decapitate him in a way even he couldn’t recover from.
Mind you that didn’t kill him, but it got really awkward.

And ed the Phyrexians at the end of the war he had been preparing for for several generations, after killing at least two other Planeswalkers (one as part of his plan, the other for having a problem with that being part of his plan) he had brought with him to Old Phyrexia.

I’d argue on the Urza not being powerful thing. Yeah he wasn’t a powerhouse compared to Taysir or Bolas, but he was still an Oldwalker, meaning he was one hardcore mofo. Still, what made him interesting was the way he solved problems, developed as a character, and used his wits for things. He was also kind of an ass.

That’s probably because being powerful doesn’t inherently make you interesting (a rule many RPers desperately need to learn). Urza wasn’t independently powerful but he was very interesting.

It’s like how Taysir of Rabiah was the most powerful Planeswalker in existence because he essentially had five Sparks, but he was shunted off to the side and basically killed off-screen because Urza was more important to the plot.
They apologize for Korona being terrible, but nothing yet about Taysir.
This card reminds me how painfully I want them to pull a Fate Reforged on Dominaria so Karona can be fixed and re-printed as a plansewalker or something. She’s like the biggest deal lore-wise but her card is traaaaaash.

Oh yes, having been playing with it as an EDH general for a while now, I’ve become well acquainted with the ways around protection XD. Unfortunately for my friends, that also includes postive ways around it like True Conviction or Finest Hour. Boy were they surprised they first time I did a hydra OTK lol.

A.K.A. “The reason protection doesn’t cover board wipes.” (Seriously, if that decision had gone the other way when Magic was still new, I’m not sure that card could have been printed.)

Wow, that’s impressive. Just looking at the Friendship Games cards, I like that you’re showing some love for the casual formats. And I love what you’ve done with Sci-Twi’s sciencemajigger. On the one hand, a potentially yuge source of colorless mana fits her flavor as an amateur artificer. On the other hand, it also fits her flavor as someone who might accidentally summon a crapload of Eldrazi to Canterlot High.
(Rosewater would deck you one for Sunset Seraph, though. They’re halfway to needing an official AWOL zone already. They don’t any more cards sliding down the slippery slope.)

You are not a terrible person. I’ve played against the Zur that pulls Diplomatic Immunity + Daybreak Coronet + Steel of the Godhead, and let me tell you if you don’t have removal ready as soon as he touches dirt you’re in for a bad time.

The other issues have already been mentioned: Overcosted, poor flavor, self-destructive (though that last one does kind of work for Dash.) Still, kudos to you for taking the criticism well. If I may make a suggestion…

Couldn’t the devotion ability be worded as “As long as your devotion to any color is less than two”? Escaped Shapeshifter uses a similar construction, referring to “protection from any color” as shorthand for five abilities.

Every Sunday for more than two years. It was (and, with Season 6, will be) a labor of love.

Utility, really. My preferred technique was to use Zur to pull out Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, and Copy Enchantment first to guard myself until I could pull off one of my win cons.
The lynchpin of them all being Enchanted Evening:
EE + Glorious Anthem + Opalescence
EE + Paraselene + (Avacyn if I want my stuff to survive)
EE + Aura Thief + Ertai the Corrupted (or another sac engine)
