the hues are organized vertically…. the values are organized left to right (dark to light). the bulge is there because it’s the ponies who are grey, white, and black. white, yellow, and pink have the greatest range of light and dark. where as green has the smallest range of bright and dark so it’s the narrowest. it’s just because green is an ugly color for ugly ponies so the show runners didnt make too many ugly green ponies….

in the yellow section under the pones with red manes and above the ones with the brown manes, you can see flim’s stripey shirt just between the bun and ear of that old pone
