I get what you were going for here, but I think Maud would prefer an array of Rock-types that are actual living rocks rather than these mere rock-skinned animals. I’m talking about guys like Gigalith, Carbink, Nose/ Probo, possibly Crustle and/or Barbarnacle (Crustle is a living display of sedimentary layering and Barbarnacle is about seven giant barnacles forming a body by attaching themselves to actual rocks), and maybe even Sudowoodo (it’s a tree-shaped rock and it could represent petrified wood). Golem is still good, that guy is definitely living rock.
Good point, but maybe the more animal-like are work pets.
