Interesting idea! Yes, let’s bring Cinch to the show, and maybe even not make her a unicorn… How about making her a very non-threatening (on the surface) earth pony? The show could make the point that not all villains are clear-cut and not every threat is magical.
I really do hope at some point we get to see principal abacus cinch in the show. If how her human counterpart is any indication of her pony self then she’ll like be a villain or at least opposing antagonist. Instead of mind control or slavery she does things that really do seem good in the beginning to everyone but at least a few can see the future bad that her decisions will make. Like this worlds female horse lex luther or whatever species she actually is. We’ve seen even the diamond dogs had human counter parts so she could be one of those or something else.
