Anthony birch is one of the most pathetic people in the world. On his wedding day, he never even got a kiss from his bride before she was off sleeping with other men, but “he was okay with that”.
He also has a laundry list of bad contributions to the state of the video game industry.
A common statement showcasing an image with the most horrible shit happening in it is “At least you’re not anthony birch.”
Did this guy remind anyone else of the guy from the museum in Ghostbusters 2? (Of course, if IMDB is to be trusted, his name is “Dr. Janosz Poha”, so even if I’d gotten into he game on time, there was no way in hell this pony was gonna get named after him.)

Apparently Coco Chanel (the company) complained, or said something about taking legal action, or Hasbro got worried about them doing so and made the change preemptively.
Birch is firmly stapled to a certain person in the video game scene, and unless you’re really planning on making this guy as completely pathetic and as much of a failure as him, I don’t see why that should be his name.
I just wish there were a .gif of the first scene where he magics a used towel off his head. I think everyone who’s ever worked in a retail or customer-service job knows exactly what his expression was saying at that moment…
Yeah, I can definitely see how naming a character after him would upset you more than naming one after a Nazi collaborator.
