You Now have party , You can suggest orders to them and they have the option of following them. They may feel more inclined to follow your orders based on confidence in you , your dominance over them and how much sense it makes to do what you suggest.

Hello OP, I am here to introduce you to the concept of leverage. Specifically because forehooves don’t bend that way sufficiently to swing a mace, and would still have less leverage than just bucking the idiot in the face.
