Everyone has to start somewhere, even if you don’t have the opportunities that everyone else has. Art communities should critique other artists, but not tell them they aren’t ready to to here.

Alright, but then why bother publishing the work at all? If you know you have inferior tools, why not just practice and wait until you do have access to proper gear to publish your art?
I mean, alright, if his rig can’t run SFM, appreciable, but that doesn’t make these pics any less… Really uncanny valley-esque and wonky. Him not having the tools to do better doesn’t magically make the end results good.

Have you even read any of his previous comments? He does all these in GMOD. His computer can’t handle SFM at all so he works with what he has. Have you ever tried to work with models in GMOD? I have, and I can say his are 1000x better than mine.

There is a point when you simply need to realize that there is something fundamentally wrong with your approach. This person hasn’t even bothered to use a proper anthro model for art of the one kink that most demands it. Are we supposed to give gold stars to everyone regardless of the effort and degree of skill put into a given piece? I refrain from disparaging art made by clear newbies. This is simple laziness.

I have no idea. Today was the first time I’ve seen this artists works.
I’ve seen your early pony creator stuff back when it was brand new. You’ve certainly improved by leaps and bounds since then, though I found even your earliest works on here entertaining (in a good way).
I would have preferred hands at the end of the arms and legs that end in hooves at the bottom, but this works too I guess.
If by chance the artist is reading this and has already explained his design choice. I had to disable all my filters to see your earlier work. Sorry bro D:
Gmod is easy if you use the ragdoll mover tool
DAZ Studio can also be a resource hog on older/slower machines.
