The chicken deal was just that to keep Luna’s church going they needed minimum hip to be 2 or more followers. Local legislation didn’t differentiate species so chicken were lured into the church over the years, it brought in revenue as form of egg sales but also upset the locals who kept tripping over chickens in robes.
