Well Tyrek is illogical who wishes nothing but destruction and power, one hundred percent inconsequential who will step on anyone to gain further power while Chrysalis still cared to her hive and was in a way still doing it all for all the changelings to have a better life at the cost of ponies, Chrysalis is simply more than just a villain that wants to see the world burn.

Discord’s thing might have worked before this, but it seems pretty definitely a slam of the reform door so intense it might as well be welded shut.
And if the reform does happen, would she have to make the change the other lings did? Would they demand it of her?
There are two directions the writers can go to bring her arc to a conclusion: Either she’s killed/imprisoned permanently, or reformed and becomes kind of a reformed-but-not-tamed Discord character. I can’t see how else the writers can do it after painting themselves into this corner.

I hope they keep it that way. In theory, everyone should be allowed chances… But there comes a point where they simply have to be stopped, since giving them another chance would mean letting many innocent people ponies not get a chance.

I hope so, considering the quality of S3. And all I’ve heard so far, S7 would be a regular length season.
The season 7 info I can find doesn’t say one way or the other. However given EqG and the movie have their own separate production teams, there’s no reason to not have 26 episodes. Spring to October is a long time to wait with only a half season.

it’ll be a compact one like S03 only to keep the franchise warm up for the movie, I did read this maybe on the wikia on EQD but I’m too lazy to search the link right now
