I probably should have made the background a little more blurred perhaps to give the illusion of speed.
Tried to achieve the effect with the position of their legs, but it didn’t work.
At a walk, the front and back legs on each side work the same way.
When at a fast trot, they work in opposition (as in the drawing above).
When at a gallop, the front legs work together and the back legs work together, sort of a kick-and-pull effect.
I dunno, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of “urgency” about this one. Seems like they could just be trotting along like usual rather than evading the consequences of their own malfeasance.
(I also really, really don’t get the idea of putting heels on a pony’s boots, but that point has nothing to do with your art, so why’d I even bring it up again really :v)

I already know the reasons why they’re not so well-known besides being obscure (though High Heel has more fanart than shadowmane who has two images to herself, one of them being a sketch of her head and this), I’m just stating that it’s nice to see fanart of them.
I think the reason there’s not much art about of these two is simply because they’re not well known.
As I said, I hadn’t even heard of them before.
Might do another of them if I get stuck for ideas some time. Probably High Heel being cute? She’s a bit more colourful, and has a more interesting design.
