This is all the family she’s got; she still wants what’s best for them, and that seldom falls below fulfilling one’s own desires, particularly with sadism. You can’t believe the rest of the crew don’t know each other inside and out by this point, after all; her mean streak would be well-documented and worked through with those she’s closest to. But this isn’t the same as just “punching someone for fun”.
He’s upset because of all the people he killed. A man in despair, when left to his own mind’s mercy, is seldom in the best state to make a rational decision. But with that in mind, someone else “punishing” them for what they did, grants closure, though temporary. If she explains her reasoning, she doesn’t need him to believe her, but just to say:
“If I was REALLY mad at ya, I’d just shoot you until your body stops twitching.”

IF Aj does give that, Spike would have a heavy ammo supply to give in return considering he saw her take sadistic pleasure in physically breaking her assailant and had personally already gotten a foot to the head for no reason. I don’t see why he’d see aggression from Aj in any positive manner, especially not this version of Spike.

I’d actually imagine Rainbow getting that treatment, but I feel like Applejack would be the opposite; she’d punch him hard enough to floor him, then when he asks why she did that, she’d say it’s because he wanted someone to do that, before a speech trying to comfort him in how he killed so many; maybe she’d even take a new big sister-role after that, saying that if he ever needs a helping hand, or fist, he can go see her.
I just want to see Spike, when he gets back to his sense, NOT be friendly to RD or AJ, considering they didn’t “like” him until he became an engine of destruction and slaughtered the opposing crew.
man, it always annoys me when the writer(s) have AJ use Y’all as a singular, Y’all is a contraction of You All, its plural. I know I should just let it go as one of those things, but using y’all as a singular just makes it sound like a yankee trying to write a southerner.

See, if the event of Spike doing that, he’d likely need to do something to get him to STOP his Godzilla-form, and cause him to seek a way to never reach that level of anger again; killing a friend in the crossfire would be the easiest way to do it; something he can’t ever hope to fix.
Could always kill off Twilight or Rarity. Have Spike turn into Godzilla and rage over Equestria, burning it and Celestia and every other being to the ground.

That’s kind’ve the reason to have her die. I mean it’s not like Jack or Dashter could be killed off without clear and immediate consequences… Twilight could probably work fine as a new medic, and it would force her to come to with the reality of what’s happened.
Yes… saved their hides, and killed tens with seemingly any lack of control; can’t wait to see what happens if one of your friends is ever caught in the crossfire.
As for who the friend would be… Twilight if it’s interrupted before he can attack, Rarity if he attacks but then tries to hold himself back in order to protect her (likely hurting her still, but not much), and… Fluttershy, if the story requires the death of a character.

Oh, Pia can use her in stand alone images, but honestly, I don’t know why anyone would want titbitch in the story unless they want spike to mangle her much more severely.
If they want Spike to bang her, just get in on Pia’s money roll and commission it, Pia will do it o.o

She’s been rendered unable to move with severe internal injuries. Unless another assault force picks her up, she’ll need high grade plot armor to avoid drowning + any hostile sea life since she can’t possibly swim.
