That’s how merging works. If a higher-res version is posted (and a duplicate report is submitted), then generally the mods will merge the smaller post into the larger one (comments/votes/faves/etc are all kept, but the posts become one-in-the-same and only contain the higher-res version).

I think they implications that this pony might, and probably will get shot in a moments notice pushes it to semi-grimdark. Which is funny, cause I actually felt like semi-grimdark was more appropriate than “safe” in of tagging.
