I’m amused by this picture because it reminded me that for the first couple minutes of the , I was still furiously setting up the chatroom and other resources used during the Q&A to help answer questions, all while casually talking through the introduction. The wifi took like 3 tries for my tiny old laptop to connect correctly!

Funny how Derpi could have just faded into the dust of obscurity had it not been Ponibooru’s sudden demise.
And YES, the exodus was chaotic! The servers kept breaking down due to not being able to handle the sudden influx of s and contents.
Interesting how they initially offered Eco the site as a more stable alternative to what we had that was Ponibooru back then.
