Haha, I’m well aware of off functions. :P
But what’s the point of having a piece of technology whose main selling point is that it allows you to stay in wherever you are, and then turn it off so nobody can you? Doesn’t that kinda defeat the purpose?

Mobile phones have this nifty function where you can turn them off. :V I just don’t answer my phone on my days off. If they want to ask me if I can come in, they can leave a voice mail.

Haha not really. ;) They know I do like technology…but just not the “always able” aspect of mobile phones.
I noticed it while I was job-hunting, and before that when I was working in my old job - basically every company wants its employees to have a mobile phone, so they can ruin your days off by making you go in to work.
Being able to avoid people calling me at any time of day, anywhere…it’s a deliberate choice. Sometimes, I just want some on my own (which is most of the time really xD)
Shockingly, I consider myself one of the few people on this Earth who have never cracked a screen on any device ever, so I actually have this many phones too.
I consider myself somewhat superstitious, which is maybe not the best quality in life, but it’s been pretty effective in of results.
I still have some of my old phones for emergency purposes. Even if a phones contract is expired and is out of service, you can still dial out to the local emergency number (here in the US being 911) and get emergency help.
