Moonglow twinkle says it was a much smaller stone when she saw it last. So one of the cultist saw the stone start getting larger, had a small idea of what that means and must of called everyone else they could to attempt to contain it. The Choosing Stone was already breaking out (but using Anon would be faster) or all this growth of power would eventually go away if the choosing stone didn’t act to free itself.

According to the first appearance of the Choosing Stone, Cloudy wished: “Deliver a fit husband to any one of my daughters, as long as his heart is true and his leg strong.” Most likely everyone else who came before the choosing stone asked for a “Stallion”, or a “Mare”, or didn’t ask for a partner who was strong. Cloudly asked for a “husband” (thus not restricted to any creature) who had strong legs (which Anon has strong legs. And strong arms. And a strong back…) It is all in the wording.

So if the choosing stone is evil and is guarded by all these cultists who don’t want anyone near it then how did Cloudy use it back in the day to get Igneous? (Or was it Igneous who used it to get Cloudy?) What stopped it from pulling an anon into the world before, whether male or female?
