It’s been out for two weeks now; I doubt any more critics that RT surveys will review it at this late date.
I’ll it I don’t care enough about the issue to actually go through all three dozen reviews, but I wonder if anyone’s pointed out how subversive it was to have the villain so concerned about his brand and his merchandise in a movie bankrolled by a toy company.
… they know a bombastic review will get them clicks on a site.
I think this explains the hyperbolic reviews better than any other theory, actually.

That’s the first positive review after something like 6 pans in a row, knocking it down from around 67% to under 50%. I’m reluctant to believe some of those reviews were made just to bring the score down, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was a motivation behind some of them, TBH.
Yeah, I guess it was, but not as awesome as Infinity War.

They get told to do it because they’re employed by a paper, or they know a bombastic review will get them clicks on a site.
