Their sauce is too sweet, but that’s also true of most chains. Really, it’s as good as most. Worst part to me is they don’t come with fire, so the cheese isn’t melted and slightly charred on the surface. But in total, Lunchables pizza is much better than no pizza. Which is generally the other option if you’re toting along a Lunchables pizza kit.

Good Pizza Lunchables compete with actual good pizza chains when it comes to the breading and sauce (though their toppings obviously suck in comparison because there is no choice). I don’t know how the cheese measures up, either, since I’m allergic and don’t eat the cheese on either type of pizza.

Agreed. They’re fairly good as a cheap meal on the go, too. Just enough to make you not hungry. And that applies to both Canadian and American versions of it.

A food item doesn’t have to be dirt cheap like instant noodles to not be expensive. Expensive is like 8 dollar fast food or fancy home cooked raw steak, not sub-$2 for a meal.
Also, you take back Lunchables being trash; they’re amazing.

For po’ folk, yes. A lot of po’ folk still make heavy use of trash like Lunchables anyway, because when you have to work multiple jobs to a family, sometimes you have to trade precious money for precious time.
