This is seriouse. Fluttershy is the only one that keeps Discord beeing good. There is nopony else in the world he cares for. When she es away he will eitehr go on a rampage or … this.  
Or he will make sure Fluttershy will never die.

It took me a while to realize he was stone. That just makes this picture even sadder.

I like to think that Discord willingly turned himself to stone to become part of her tomb, to keep watch over her forever.
