Hmm BP pony, i thought about it and i think that chronologically this is after the wedding and before the pinkie clonation-fest. And is still fit.  
Changeling assuming Pinkie shapes is nothing new at all, as they did at canterlot wedding if i remeber right. And pinkie seem to have received the awful feeling that more pinkies would be fun(funfun) or at least an awesome party. This will eventually lead her to think to self clonation as good thing to do(and explain why the clones choose to make other clones!).  
This comic si awesome and anyone being upset for their fanfiction is kind of low thing, i mean come on is not that your fanfiction woudl hav eever been considered anything else than a nice writing exercise. Or canon.  
Sorry.

Treating the comics as canon when an army of Pinkie Pie clones is treated as something new, unexpected, and welcome is a ridiculous proposition.

I gotta it, 4 and 9 were pretty funny. Because they’re at least aware that what they wrote is just silly.

Alternate Universe is a pretty good way to classify my fic idea as a whole, not just with the fact that it involves Chrysalis returning. So, yeah, good call.

I just got back from playing RAGE and apparently the comic killed some fanon while I was gone. Care to fill me in?

Comic is canon and it destroys every fanfic regarding Chrisalys’ return.

I’m guessing the official comic messes with a few plot lines and premises of some current fanfics. Making them moot.

I don’t really get this. Can someone explain it?

the only fanon killed by the comic was the acting talent of changelings, and frankly i can get over that.

It hasn’t done anything too bad yet :T and it doesn’t even have to be taken as canon
