I’m leaning more towards the omniscient observer side. Yes, it was a flashback of Vee, and we the readers saw things as they happened Delta could not have known. She was out of frame and seemed to have had her back turned to Jet when he made that telling glance. So if she didn’t see it, but we do, then it is what happened.

Not confirmed afaik. It’s kind of implied in the flashback earlier in the way Jet looks at that photo, but since everything was told entirely from Delta’s perspective, it might just be how she re the whole situation.

I’m sorry, but is that confirmed as canon or just what Delta believes? I was under the impression that Apogee was an accident and that their last romp was a ‘one more time before we say goodbye’ thing.

Or he could still care about her in a romantic sense, and the way he’s ‘looking out for her’ by making Apogee spend time with her is so she’ll swallow her pride, come back to him tail between her legs, and be the wife he always wanted her to be. He’s apparently been trying this for sixteen years and the only reason it’s still happening is because Delta has at least some shred of maternal affection and doesn’t have the heart to tell Apogee she’s a pawn, and she doesn’t want to see her anymore, or her daddy. Or she has at some point and felt so horrible about it, she capitulated and allowed the Trojan horse back into her life.

Can’t really help someone who doesn’t want to be helped. Delta’s misery is her own fault at this point. The only thing stopping her from getting better and fixing her life is her own self-destructive nature.
Yes Jet started this with his mistake. But he took that mistake and did his best to overcome it, while using it as a motive to better himself and make a better life for his daughter.
That’s why he’s my favourite of the three

well, when you screw up big time like he did, the least you could do is be concerned. The way i see it, this is as far as Jet can go seeing how she hates him - He’s playing safe.

The fact that he’s the guy who put her in this situation is the whole reason why he’s concerned. He still cares about her, maybe not in a romantic sense but he is still very much concerned.

Long story short: They were dating, she was leaving to pursue a career opportunity, he tried to get her to stay by knocking her up, she fell into a downward spiral that she never recovered from, and now she hates his guts.

if you really wanna know, search for the stories made by P-Berry on fimfiction. It tells a lot about their past in a more detailled way. You don’t have to take it as cannon if you don’t want to - Shino said it on his blog that you can take whatever you want from the fics as cannon or not

When your whole life gets ruined by someone, it is hard to not hold grudges and these grudges then turn into vices and those turn into character flaws.
Trust me on that one. It is not as simple as “looking at both sides of a coin”. Speaking from the position of a similar experience myself.

Not really. She could become someone better if she tried but she just sees one side of the coin. They’re both on equal when it comes to screwing up
