The show isn’t about teaching friendship. It teaches that if you’re the chosen one, you will have friends and everything will work out in your favor. Twilight was handed life long friends in the first episode on top of her perfect life, everyone forgives and hugs starlight specialmuffin after she looks down in shame. Meanwhile characters like trixie get enormous shit. It’s unfair, that is not an opinion. It’s not an opinion that starlight is the most hated character. If you want an opinion, I also hate her.

It’s absolutely true, no other character is hated as much as starlight. Everything from her powers to the way she was treated is so absurdly unfair, she took the show’s existing problems and made them much more obvious.
