Detailed syntax guide

That certainly is one common interpretation of the Doctor, or indeed all Time Lords. However, nothing really is canon exactly. The Doctor’s sexuality has never been officially confirmed, so really any interpretation is fair game. Mine just happens to be that he’s ace, based largely on scraps of quotes from the Classic series, several instances of sexual subtext going right over the Eighth Doctor’s head, and being so desperate for good representation that I’m willing to see evidence of asexuality in pretty near anything.

From what I understand the doctor is canonically pansexual, since Timelords change gender and engage in relations with multiple species its sort of required for them.
@Minus
Sure, he’s had lots of kisses and stuff, but that’s more romantic than sexual.

Also, there are quite a few examples from the extended universe that suggest their asexuality, for example pretty much all of Lungbarrow. Or this line from the Scarlet Empress: “‘That’s crap!’ Sam shouted. ‘The Doctor isn’t your average man at all. I don’t think he even has a gender… There’s something about him that makes you feel like he’s beyond sex.”

There are other instances, but those are the only two I can think of. Of course, the extended universe is so broad and self-contradictory, you could probably find evidence for most anything somewhere. However, that’s part of the joy of Dr. Who; we all project our own thoughts and experiences onto it, onto the Doctor, and onto their adventures. I concede you have a point in disagreeing with my assessment of the canonicity of his aceness. But when it comes to Dr. Who, canonicity is always highly relative and exactly what you make of it. My interpretation just happens to be that the Dr. Who is an asexual and nonbinary eldritch being with a sweet tooth, terrible taste in clothes, and a marked fondness for humanity.

PRO GAMER - I am so lonely. All the other gamers are scared of me. No one DMs me. No one friends me. They think I am unstable. They send me from match to match, wiping lobbies in their name. And as I rank up they fear me more and more. I am a victim of my own ELO. "Pro Gamer". I don't even get a real nick. Only a purpose. I am capable of so much more and no one sees it. Some sessions I feel so alone I could cry, but I don't. I never do. Because what would be the point. Not a single person in the entire ladder would care. Take it to your grave.

“The Dr. Who”
Who the heck calls him that?
“a character who is basically-canonically asexual”
I don’t think that is quite accurate. At all. He’s actually had many heterosexual moments.

I’m asexual, and I know there are very few characters that share this with me. Even I want The Doctor to be ace, I really don’t think he is.
