as far as I wrote he only wanted 2 biological descendants for now and after all you only need 3 quarks to make a proton (top quarks and charm quarks have a charge of +2/3 and strange quarks have a charge of -1/3) I guess that and he just wanted to keep the motif of being named after a subatomic particle…

No actually that is the name of his son, he has 2 adopted daughters named Mantis, and Firefly. And 2 biological descendants(the mother is chrysalis) 1 male 1 female both hybrids of pony and changeling… The colt is charm quark and the filly is top quark… And thats his IMMEDIATE family… Because he married the queen he is technically related to the ENTIRE changeling race now

He was born an alicorn but he still doesnt really know where he came from as his origin story is he was adopted by celestia as a really little colt after he was beamed to her balcony by an alien spacecraft, celestia decided to raise Strange Quark as her own(luna became an aunt that night) at some point he accidentally shot down an alien spacecraft while playing a disk battle session with his friends, one of the aliens survived the crash and assisted with salvage operations, Strange Quark then was able to use the data on the ship to advance equestrias tech to unimaginable levels(like tron type stuff) he discovered the grid when he was 12 and defeated the master control program, he lived the events of tron legacy minus getting trapped in the grid and dying in order to defeat clu, he also fought a virus program alongside TRON but that fight cost him his right eye and gave him that scar, a few years later he was on a geological survey mission when he stumbled across chrysalis’s hive(a new one after thorax came to power) he then met her, fell in love with her, convinced equestria to let her move in with him, she had her metamorphosis, she lived with Strange Quark, got married, adopted 1 foal and then had 2 more with chryssi…thats his story so far in a nutshell

Oh and like the galaxy and black hole in the background? I used the andromeda galaxy as general reference for a galaxy… And i used the black hole from interstellar as reference for my black hole… I also included the doppler effect in the accretion disk(light being stretched as matter moves away{redshifted} and light being squeezed as it moves closer{blueshifted})

Thats my oc Strange Quark… He is Chryssi’s husband(in my fanfic anyways) he has 3 foals… 1 adopted(a pureblood changeling named firefly) and 2 biological foals(both are pony changeling hybrids, a filly named Top Quark, and a colt named Charm Quark)
Nice reformed Chrysalis concept here. It retains her old appearance while also showing off the features of the other new Changelings. (I also don’t have a term to settle on when referring to the Changelings’ current looks. Something in me doesn’t want to use “Changedling” and I bet a lot of people would get tired of me calling them “Alolan Changelings”, especially if they aren’t into Pokémon.)
oh also the reason a patch of the floor is white is because that is equestrian sunlight coming through the portal as the red giant’s light goes through the portal into equestria
how do I remove the inaccurate “changedling” tag… I prefer metamorphosed changeling instead of changedling as it fits their insect motif a little better
