This didn’t go quite as I’d hoped, I mostly wanna work on canon characters in the future so I realized that getting myself worked up over a bunch of free art of peoples ocs isn’t the right way to get art out.
So for my own sanity and posting more art, I’ll suspend pincushionZeph for now.

hey, you can’t go wrong with free art of people’s ocs. you can make someone so incredibly happy with that. lights up my life when someone cares enough to (try to) draw my (nonexistent) oc.
it’s also good to draw hasbro trademarked characters, so go draw what you enjoy. I’m just saying you did some great work here, and this is a good way to get your art out. I really respect you for doing such a good job on some lucky ocs, and if free art leaves you hurting for cash, I think now that people know what you’re capable of they’ll be beating down your door for paid commissions. though uh, if you’re only gonna draw canon characters you’re probably not hurting for cash.

Oh wow! Can I just say I love what you did with Tree Hugger’s cutie mark? That is fantastic. One of the reasons I liked this ship is that I can imagine Zephyr confiding in Tree Hugger, being able to open himself up when he can’t do so with anyone else. A moment of respite and I like how this picture captures that.

Well thanks! I might be a bit biased because I can relate to him on some level. Since you asked for prompt ideas, how about Zephyr Breeze and Tree Hugger? A hippie and a hipster! I always liked the idea of setting them up together due to their close mutual association with Fluttershy, one’s her brother and the other is a close friend. This gives them a way to be introduced in a plausible manner. I could go on and on about it but really I just think they’d make a cute couple and would love some more fanart of them. I’d even take platonic friendshipping at this point!

Damn, I wish I had seen this when it was first posted. Zephyr’s one of my favorite side characters in the show, he’s got some nice complexities to him and it’s a shame not as many people like him.

(Or alternatively you can draw him with one of his parents since Mr. and Mrs. Shy don’t seem to get much attention compared to the other parents, especially in SFW art.)
