I really don’t find the appeal of this kind of anthro art. At least they have tails I guess?

I don’t know what world you live in but that scale doesn’t exist online and it especially does not exist in fan communities.
 
It might be news to you but practically everybody that opens their mouth in online communities is either talking about how they really love something or talking about something they really hate.

It’s a lot less forgiving than digital art. (You can’t hit the ‘undo’ button if you make a mistake).
 
Nice cleanly drawn style, but the colouring overlap on the sky is why I swapped to colouring pencils.

I really don’t want to start anything so I don’t think I should be replying. But I thought I said I liked the retro 90’s anime look? I suggested pushing that style even harder. I can see it in your OC’s mane and, maybe the linework too. I want more of that. I’m sorry none of the nice things I am trying to say about this are coming out right.

I would be happy if you could say this on my actual images. Clear up which ones have the problems and where I can improve. Not knowing why my art always looks a bit off has been driving me a bit nuts. Put me off doing more of it. I would really appreciate your helpful critique!
