And for this prompt, I decided to unleash Chrysalis. It was originally going to be a bigger, full-body drawing of her, but then I came upon this expression of her on a screenshot of “The Mean 6” when I searched through Derpibooru and I just couldn’t up on it. She might have lost her hive and a lot of her power, but Chrysalis still has it in her to intimidate and scare you.
And how casually she could use a spell to create evil clones of Twilight and her friends, and that just with a few hairs from them and a bunch of photos, it makes you wonder what else she is able to do….. She is still a very dangerous enemy of Equestria.
Drawing this had to be done a bit fast. I am currently making a little vacation of sorts at a place with no street lamps whatsoever and after I was done writing for today, it was already way past 7 PM and close to getting dark, so I had to hurry to draw this picture while I could still see. Which made the execution a bit sloppy (and I think I messed up her horn, because the screenshot I used as reference did not show all of it and my memory failed me), but I needed to get this done before coming home again and a deadline is a deadline.

Last year I could finally get more into drawing ponies again and I hope to keep that up this year and to start doing it regularly.
