@Light E7FE
If you’re opposed to this edit specifically, it might be worth it to try improving on the original on your own (people do it all the time.)
It is for this reason that I would have preferred to be informed before, by MP, where I am asked to make an edit by my self, (that I am willing to do by the force of things). That I can do the correction myself with your criticism/advices ! That’s all! ^^

Okay, okay, I understand, the old version is not good
The original version is gorgeous. People love it. Tons of work obviously went into it. But it has a flaw that sticks out at a first glance (the face is the first thing you look at), so eventually there was bound to be someone who would attempt to fix it. If you’re opposed to edits, you need to say so, otherwise editing art while crediting the original artist is viewed as fair game. If you’re opposed to this edit specifically, it might be worth it to try improving on the original on your own (people do it all the time.)
Then add a “Don’t use without permission” to your work. Seriously, this is the INTERNET. People will always use what is there, if not told otherwise. This is the idea, to share information, vision, art, etc…
As of now, this is a non profit edit with all the credits given to the original artist: Creative Commons.
So step down a notch and just take it as .
Okay, okay, I understand, the old version is not good, I know it and it it, but I would like for the next time to be warned for this kind of “correction” (which is still anatomical errors) that I can give my approval or not. Because there, it was posted without my being informed.
The principle was to play with the proximity of the gaze that was not quite in the direction of the reader, but almost, to encourage him to also look for Twilight’s gaze.
The problem with the original is that regardless of the intended depiction, every part of her face looks directed almost directly towards the viewer except the nose, which is disproportionately left-oriented to the point where the right nostril isn’t even visible. The edit might have its own issues, but it fixed the most glaring perspective discrepancy, so people like it.
Now, she is supposed to look at what she touches with her wing, with her head slightly slanting downwards and a little below. The principle was to play with the proximity of the gaze that was not quite in the direction of the reader, but almost, to encourage him to also look for Twilight’s gaze.
And with a subtle smile.

In this version that I don’t approve, she just stares at you (and somebody or somepony who stares you like this Its is disturbing), with a smile a little disturbing.
No tenderness in this edit, just tendentious look and smile.
@Light E7FE
she has a muzzle, just a bit more pointy one. creepy? not to me or the majority here XD
but at least, its more anatomical correct and believable. i am not trying to questioning your skills.
since you can deliver really impressive works. but the snout of twi was really bad and just ruined it.
for me at least.
Ahhh,I know my version (the old version) it was not perfect, I know it, and I not searching perfection, but it’s not my edit and this smile is just… creepy. And It have a big mistake here, Here, there is no muzzle. or it is very flat muzzle.
You know, I was feeling a bit bad about my art not nearly as many getting likes and faves as some low effort cheap porn… and then I saw this. Numbers-wise not getting as much attention as cheap porn, but also fucking beautiful. This and things like it deserve all of the attention and praise. There Ain’t No Justice (tm) so it won’t rate as highly as things with more boobs, but this is good art, and you should feel good.
Do things like this, and if you get three hundred “likes”, it is still BETTER than many things that get three thousand.
And those people can keep making their stuff too. It’s fine. As long as people like you keep doing art like you do also. There’s room for all of the artists and approaches to art.
Sorry… it’s been one of those days, and maybe I’m reminding myself of this more than anything, but there you go.
That… does look better. Maybe a smoother gradient to make the muzzle look a bit less pointy would be even better, but it’s a really good edit nevertheless.
I love it. Will you that one

@Durabiznik
nothing more to say about it. intention is one thing. but the result was very different.
