Lips make any character bad. It’s kinda like the uncanny valley. Most anime characters don’t have lips which is why most of them are good. Now, the ones that do have lipstick look really weird and make us think of real people Or photorealism or whatever. That’s why I hate Peach & Rosalina from Mario & prefere Daisy. Peach & Rosalina’s faces don’t work in 3D. I’d actually say lips are worse in 3D. I mean why waste time giving a character lips in the first place? That’s why only few characters have them.
