Hell no. The entire reason why I got into this series was because I read about Derpy Hooves, how the name was accepted by the staff and how her eyes were edited from episode 15 on in season one because of this. I like series that are influenced by the fandom.
Yeah, like we wouldn’t have all those ponies named by the fans (Lyra, Bon Bon, DJ Pon-3, and yes, Derpy, for a short time before it was edited) and Slice of Life.

They aren’t paid to be happy about it. Do you actually have any reason for saying that the stuff hates us? You kinda seem to enjoy saying that without actually backing it up. I have to say, The show would be very different if that were the case, as would the fandom.
Again, if they wanted to anger people then they would have Marble be happy for Big Macintosh and Sugar Belle (to basically say “it was all in your head and Marble never had a crush on him”).

I don’t understand how one could be an adult, and hate other adults for liking their work.
If they hated the fandom they wouldn’t keep showing up at cons. Not to mention we’d never have had eps like “Slice of Life.”
