A singular CMC and a pony who at that point was only ever a matchmaker for a couple who already had history together would not have made either of them go for it.
God dangit, the girlβs painfully shy- moreso than Big Mac! It wouldβve been just as hard for her to make the first move on him as it wouldβve been for Mac to get with Sugar Belle if he hadnβt had the CMC helping him out. I guarantee they wouldβve jumped on the MarbleMac express first if theyβd been around for their first meeting.
