Except when she wasn’t, which was half the time. she usually lashed out with her magic and even in the movies tried super hard to be menacing, usually ruined by the comedic sidekick. She was a character that was either (Failing to be fully) Menacing, or very angry most of the time, with occasional bits of smugness.

Not all of the comics take each other or the show into consideration. This storyline’s version of the character is one I’m not liking much.
Movie Tempest was cool and soft spoken. Comic Tempest reads like some edgelord’s red and black oc. She’s a self-conscious tryhard who won’t stop talking about how badass she is in hopes that someone will buy it.

Dude, she’s been in the comic for a few pages and just started acting like that, mainly because she was getting into Character.
